December 11,2010.

In the past few days in my government class we have been discussing how the process of sending letters to the troops is in success. Our government class has been visiting classes and giving speeches to the the students and encouraging them to write decent letters to the troops giving thanks and appreciating all the great things they have done for our country. Its important to give thanks to our troops because sometimes we don't take the time to let them know how much we appreciate them. The troops are far far away from their country and family and freinds just to protect their country, and all they do for us is fight and battle against our enemies for us. And yet we dont appreciate them enough and show compasion and love to them. So by writing this letter this could show how much we apprecite all their hard work. And hopefully we receive letters back from our troops. So far we have collected approximately 200 letters from students and teachers. Lets see how many more letters we receive!!!!!!!

Plan A

Well what I plan to do to give back to the community is send a letter to at least 3 soliders serving for our country. The reason why I choose to do this is because I know how it might feel when you have no one to talk to. For example my boyfriend will be deployed pretty soon and I also have an uncle and cousin that are serving one is in Afghanistan and the other is in Iraq. They've told me how hard it is to be gone for so long and not even hear from someone. So this could be like a practice for when I do write to them including my boyfriend. They are also part of this world and yet it seems that when they are away we don't notice that they are away and it seems like we forget about them. But they deserve to hear from new people and know how we feel about them and how much we appreciate their service and what they are doing for our country. So I will begin with this by getting an address where I can send letters to our soliders. And then go from there and get people to join in and write a letter to them as well. But this doesn't just need to be a one time only thing we could continue to write to our troops if desired.

South and North Korea in WAR!!!!!!!

North Korea and South Korea have conflict between each other. Bomb Shells have hit the North Korea and now they are in war. Whether we like it or not the United States will be forced to participate in this war and stand by the South Koreans. Just now the United States has about 39,000 troops in South Korea. Now what I do not understand is WHY!WHY!WHY! are we being involved in another WAR! We can not afford getting involved in another war. Yes, we are allies and they have also been invloved with us in other wars, but we are currently not in the position where we can take action and enter another era of war. More and more of our troops we be involved and injured or even dead. Why are we getting pulled down into another war we can not afford to enter? I just hope the Senate responds with the correct answers and thinks about our situation. We haven't even finished one war we have been invloved for such a long time and now we are planning to help out in another war! I am super pissed off because "THIS IS NOT OUR BUSINESS AT ALL"! Yes South Korea might need our help but a way the United States can help is supporting South Korea with our War supplies. War in general needs to come to an end. Why can't we just talk things out with each State and come to a peaceful conclusion like MATURE adults. We are acting like IMMATURE teenagers if we do decide to help out the South Koreans. Korea is not part of the United States therefore it is not our business. Yes we are allies but not part of each other. We can not help all the world. We can only help ourselves. Think about it has South Korea bothered to help us when we were in deep trouble economically or war wise?

The Horrible Feeling When.......

What decision to make when the person you love the most confesses to you that they are enlisting to the Marines. My question is how do the wifes and husbands of our Marines do it to face the truth and cruel reality that our loved ones are far from us and may or may not come back to us. How do they do it they turn on the news and there is news reports about our Marines dying or in danger. How? How? How? Well a couple months ago my boyfriend confessed to me that he was enlisting to the Marines and had already met with the SGTS. At first I took it all as a joke and didn't want to face the cruel truth and reality. But as days and months have passed things have gotten more serious and time is running by fast for his departure. I would never imagine this would happen to me. I never thought someone that I love would leave to war. It breaks my heart to even think about him leaving to war. Everytime I see commercials or anything related to the: War, Marines, Army, Navy, Airforce, I just break down into tears. How to family members that have their Marines fighting in war feel everytime they pick up the phone or turn on the news and all they see on the news is more more of our Marines dying in the war. How do they manage to break thru? I still can't face the reality that my boyfriend the one I love will be leaving pretty soon after my graduation. I just hope nothing will harm my Marine or any other Marines that are fighting for our country. These wars that we are fighting are useless and make no sense. Yes we are tried of war and it needs to end now. All we see fighting in our wars are our soliders but we never see Presidents going out to war and fighting for our country. Now I really feel what other families feel when our Marines and Army, Navy, and Air Force warriors leave to war and not knowing if we will ever have the chance to seeing them come home once again. I now know the feeling of having a huge knot in the stomache and throat and feeling a huge depression. My Respects To All Of Our Warriors In War.

November 14, 2010. Nothing Is For Granted Thats What Learned Today Sadly.

Yes I have learned that nothing in this life and world is granted no matter how much money you might have. Today I was informed by my cousin that a very close friend has passed away only having 18 years old. He was the bests of friends. I knew him ever since we were infantS. He was always there for me in the good and the bad. The wierd thing I noticed was that I had spoke to him over the phone for more than an hour a week ago and we are talking about our infant days and how we would always fight with each other and push each other around. And he had told me that he was very fortunate to have known me ever since we were infants. I never imagined someone so close and someone I knew all my life would soon be gone and not part of this world any more. He was my best friend and like an older brother to me. Its hard to let go of something that has always been in your life for so long. Imagine having someone one day and then the next day they are no longer there. Hard to believe and take in the fact that you will never ever see them ever again only in pictures and your memories. But the good thing to make yourself believe is that the loved ones we have lost are now in a better place, in heaven with the rest of the world that is no longer in this world but in another. So today I have learned that life is not granted and that we should live, love, and respect one another each day of our lives. We should always be happy and not let anything get in our way ever. Don't ever let sadness, frustration, or depression get in the way for you to be happy. Live your life to the max. And let the people you love and care about know how much you love them and care for them because there could be a chance when you might never get the chance to let them know how you feel.

November 11, 2010. CIA director says....

In the article I read today its about WiKi leaks and how they have released military videos on the War in Afghanistan. These war documents were only to be seen by the govenment and not released to the public view. How can this have happened you might ask yourself? Well apparently no one is aware of that. But the CIA director says he will be taking drastic actions and under go investigations of who released these documents. In my opinion I think the person whom might have released these videos are the people that make documentaries for the newspaper or the Afghan people themselves. Its really hard to determine who has published these military videos. But something has to be done. This type of information just can not be shown to public. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101109/pl_yblog_upshot/cia-director-says-leaks-cannot-be-tolerated
