Lately there has been a lot of controverses in religion. At first the main problem in NYC was the Mosque being built on ground zero. Now the issue is in India. The main cause of the issue is that muslims and hindus are fighting and destroying each others temples and mosques. Not only has the issue on religion made a difference in the way people live and view each other. As what it seems the issue on religion has portrayed many peoples lifes. In India it has gone a bit too far. Why are people doing this. Centries this had happened in the Region of Mexico and they were also fighting for their beliefs and religion. Many bishops, preists, nuns, monks and followers of Christianity were killed and murded. What I believe is that everyone comes to a point where religion affects every individual in sociey. The reason why it affects everyone is because not all human beings believe in the same beliefs and that makes and creates controverses. Seems like history is repeating itself all over again. Its funny how it all happens like a cycle. Our socities shouldn't make religion as a part of creating problems/ issues. The next thing we need is a Universal War of Religion. We have to be united and put our beliefs aside and not make such a big deal out of it.

September 29, 2010. 30 Gulf cartel suspects captured in North Mexico.

As many people know all over the gulf of Mexico drug cartels have gone esane crazy killing individuals of innocent people. Ask yourself, what's the main purpose of all these non- sense? Individuals of all different age groups even babies are being killed like flys on desktops. What is most upsetting in this case is that the drug cartels aren't killing for a main purpose, they are fighting for a use less cause that is of drugs. Human beings are killed like animals in the streets. seems like the drug cartels have no heart and are killing everything and everyone that is in their way, just like road kill. Don't you think this has gone way to far and way to many people died? Nearly 28,000 people have been killed because of drug cartel attacks. Well apparently the marines of the Gulf or Mexico have caught 30 suspects including 1 female and the rest being men. They are considered the ones that caused the whole chaos in Matamoros and Reynosa. They just didn't capture them with regular guns. They captured these criminals with grenades and other powerful weapons in which killed not only few hundreds but thousands. Now that some drug cartel suspects have been captured what do you think they should do with them? In my perspective I think that just like they had the heart to kill thousands of human beings they should be sentenced a death penalty for all the damage and chaos they've caused. It would be unfair and corrupt if the government would just give them a simple little fine for all that they've done. What if they get away and things only get worse. How will the Gulf of Mexico survive and fight against this hardship? This is one of the main reasons so many migrants are migrating into the United States, all they want is a better life for their families and be protected.

September 27, 2010. Obama Signs $42 Billion aimed to help small businesses.

Well according to the article read about Obama signing $42 billion bill to help small businesses. But what I do not get is howcome he is donating $42 billion dollars to help small businesses when the State needs that money saved up to help our economy. He can't go using up billion dollars just to help out small businesses. Yet the government is complaining how the United States is in debt. I do not understand how the President Obama can donate money when we need that money! What if our nation goes into even more debt and we need a couple billion dollars to gain up a least a bit of our economy back into shape. He needs to think about our debt and how he can't go off spending billion of dollars just to help out small businesses. If Obama wanted to help out small businesses he could have helped them in another different way. Spending excessive money is not going to fix and shape up our economy. Just because he donated $42 billion dollars to small businesses now he looks good in our society, but thats not the point of being a president. If he wants to be a good president he should start off by making more jobs avaiable and hiring individuals and getting our nations debt cleared for good instead of spending time donating money that the nation needs and donating it to small businesses. Its not that I think this is a bad decision he made but its not the correct way on spendig our nations money instead of using that money to clear our nations debt.

September 23,2010. Class Discussion!

In the class discussion we had on Wensday we argued about the different views we had in respect to the immigration law and citizenship in the United States. A lot of the people in class were against the immigration law. Most people that were against the immigration law thought that it was unfair for most immigrants to be treated this way and being seperated from their families. But for the people that were for the immigration law thought that it was a good thing to stop all the drug and smugling cartels from coming into the countries. Well in my point of view I am for the immigration law. My reasons for being for the immigration law is because most people that crossed the borders into the U.S. just came here for our benefits and health care. I think its unfair for the legal U.S. citizens to be here legal and most don't even get those benefits immigrants are getting. For example, most immigrants are here and they don't even work and their getting support from Welfare in which legal U.S. citizens are paying for. Plus I think its a crime for immigrants crossing the borders when the law says its unlegalized. But at the same time some immigrants come to the United States for protection and freedom, and have better lives for their generations. When it comes to that I think that only some but not all immigrants sould have the opportunity to stay in the United States. But for the immigrants that are in the United States that are causing trouble they should be the ones being deported. And if immigrants want to come into the U.S. then they should apply for a temporary visa and not come into the state causing crime. Plus, the United States isn't the only state that grants opportunities and freedom, there's other countries as well!

September 22, 2010. Big Changes to your Health Insurance.

In the CNN news I read and article about changes that are being made in our health insurance. Many people may be asking if this is a bad change or a good beneficial change. Well the answer is yes this is a good and beneficial change in our health insurances. What has changed is the age limit of people that are eligible for health insurance and what the health insurance companies are supposed to be covering and what they are allowed to be covering. And now your own job(s) are also supposed to cover their workers with health insurance. Even the little shops or self owned companies don't actually have to provide their workers with health insurance but have to pay taxes. Now what my main concern is, is everyone elegible for health insurance? Like in class today in the class discussions I mentioned how most of the illegal immigrants are coming to the United States just to get benefits from our government, while most U.S. citizens don't even have health insurance or benefits and yet the U.S. citizens have to pay taxes in order for benefits to provide others. I think that isn't fair for the legal citizens. So my question is, if the companies are to provide their workers with health insurance does this mean that even if their illegal immigrants will they also be provided with health insurance? And for the legal U.S. citizens these health insurance changes could mean great opportunities since not all U.S. citizens have health insurance.

September 21, 2010. White House adviser Summers Stepping Down

In the article I read today mentioned something about the Economic Adviser of the White House Larry Summers declaration of him stepping down from advisor and returning back to Harvard University to teach. No why would such a talented guy like Larry Summers want to step off from being an economic advisor for the White House to just being a proffesor at Harvard? Is it that the United States economy is that bad that he can't advise much about what President Obama can do to fix our Economy. But it was mentioned that Summers was also being a butt when it came to the advisory meetings, Summers wouldn't allow certain individuals in the room for discussion. Maybe this could have been another reason why Summer decided or maybe could have been forced to leave as Economic Advisor of the White House. Even though Summers is leaving it was also mentioned that President Obama was going to continue to ask for advise.In my perspective I think that Summers was asked to leave from his job as economic advisor. As to what it seems it looks like he didn't do much to advise the past presidents and President Obama with advising him with any useful information in which could have helped our economy. Our economy is so bad that basically there isn't anything we can do to recover from t in a short period of time. And what I think that happened was that Summers either couldn't handle pressure of the presidents and couldn't come up with anything useful to say. If he were such a great economic advisor I think that he would have had made at least a small change in our economy. What do you think?

September 20, 2010. The $180,000 fine on Pastor

Today in class in the cool Whip one of my classmates talked about the issue on the bill that was fined against the pastor that wanted to burn the Quran. He was charged around 180,000 dollars for the special services that were put for protection. In my opinion I strongly agree that it was the correct thing to do to the pastor and fine him for such choas. I even believe that he should have been arrested for attempting to do the unthinkable. Not only is he attacking this religion but he can even break a war out of something so disrespectful. I wonder why he is so mad at these muslims that haven't done any harm to him. What could it be? Maybe he was involved in this religion and perhaps someone or something made him mad. But in reality who knows the main reasons why he acted this way against the muslim religion. Why did he have to make such a huge and apprently costly scene for nothing. First of all not all muslims are terrorists like most people believe. They are normal people like we are that have their own religion and beliefs. Just because we believe in different things and we have a different culture there isn't a reason for people to treat them any different from everyone else. Its important for all of us to be united in order for this country to have complete peace and unity. Without this peace and unity who knows where this country might end up or how it might end up.

Hospital Violence..... September 16, 2010.

So I read this crazy article about this man killing his mother while she was in the hospital! How insane is that. Who kills their mother. While the main point is that today just an hour and six minutes ago this crazy man named Warren Davis went to go visit his mother at the Baltimore Hospital to visit her from her treatment that went wrong and left his mother paralyzed. Being that his mom was now paralyzed from this treatment he was extremly upset and decided to kill not only his mother but himself as well. I just find it interesting how somethin this could lead to murder and complete insaneness. Why would he want to kill his mother. Yea she would be paralyzed for the rest of her life but yet she has the right to live as long as she could. Now people are saying that there should be more health care security in hospitals. Do you agree? In my perspective I strongly agree of this issue. Why do I agree? I agree because there are so many crazy people like these that are determined to do anything even kill in order to be in power of the sick ones ownings, or even because they want them dead. Not only can family members be determined to kill their own kind but even former friends can be determined to harm the patients. There should be far more security in these places for the exact reason as this one that just occured. Not only will these crazy people will be willing to kill their family members and friends but also other people that surround them or could have been witnesses. If there's security in almost any places why isnt there more security and searchings in the hospitals. I think this would be a good thing in which should be considered for the security and protection of the patients and employees.

S.B 1070 September 14, 2010

The S.B. 1070 has been a great controversy and has been destroying many peoples lives by seperatating their families apart. In Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has been enforcing the law of S.B. 1070 and has made people very angery. For instance President Barack Obama, the Obama admistration has sued the state of Arizona for enforcing the law of immigration. With all do respect Jan Brewer has been doing a complete dumb decision in deporting all illegal aliens back to their countries. Yet she calls this issue constitutional when she is enforcing racial profiling when the Arizona police officers would stop and ask or even take the individuals assuming they their illegal immigrants. How is this considered constitional? I want to know where in the constitution it mentions that racial profiling is legal? In the speech Jan Brewer gave in the article Statement of Governor Jan Brewer- She is not happy with Pres. Obama, she mentioned that the Obama Administration shouldn't have a reason for sueing the State of Arizona because she is only protecting the Arizonians from all the drug and smugler cartels. Yes I do agree that in the constitution states that illegal immigrants are violating the law by tresspassing the borders. But yet how long did the law wait to enforce the law of illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants are the ones that formed the United States so I do not understand for the madness of deporting immigrants back to their designated countries if our generations are the ones in which migrated to the U.S. . If the S.B. 1070 passes I highly doubt this country will be successful in the following generations to come. Therefore I am oppose the S.B. 1070. In my opinion its unfair and corrupt.

(Terecita Vega) The S.B. 1070 is geeting quiet out of hand. In Arizona and in some other States as well,ave been enforcing the immigration law and deporting all illegal immigrants back to their countries. In my point of view I think this is unfair and hypocritical. Why do I think the government is being hypocritical and unfair, well I think this because if the government really didn't want these illegal aliens migrating to their country how come they didn't start doing something stop this from the very beginning. So they say they don't want these immigrants in their countries right, well howcome these illegal immigrants get hired to work for U.S. jobs. Why are immigrants still working in the farms, harvesting, and how I like to call it "Doing the Dirty Jobs". Especially Arizona, in Arizona there are more immigrants working for their country picking and selling crops. Well id these countries in which are enforcing the law to deport illegal immigrants out of their country they should start off by deporting all the illegal immigrants that grow and sell crops from the fields. Now who are the people whom are going to be working these crops and jobs in which most U.S. citizens wouldn't do? I highly doubt citizens would do the job. My reasons for thinking that the Arizona government is being hypocritical/ hypocrits is because it was said that the workers that work in the fields would be the only exception that could be here illegally. Now why is that, if they want all illegal immigrants out of that country. Well here's why, its because they know that they are the only ones that are going to be the only ones to do the jobs in the fields. They are such two- faces, and corrupt! I just think that all this should stop because in reality we are all illegal immigrants because we all come from different parts of the world. The only people whom are not illegal immigrants to the United States are the Native Americans.

(Terecita Vega) According to the Vice President Biden of Washington he clarifies that his speech on Summer of Reconstruction was not intended for people to think that this summer of recovery meant there was going to be more job opportunites. It was just a term in which meant there was going to be more projects being done. But in a way I think that by the vice president mentioning that fact that there was going to be more projects being done this is an opportunity for more jobs to be created. If Biden didn't want to be misqouted on what he said on his speech I think that he should have been a bit more clear and through on what he was trying to say in his speech, this way people wouldn't be confused just like they are now. But yet there isn't any projects being done since the day it was established June 2010. I think that if these government officials start making their speeches public for everyone to be informed of all their future projects, first of all they should be clear in their message so people won't be getting misunderstandings and they should keep their word when they say their going to start. Its very important for them to be trustable to the people because then it will just look like their just full of it and just acting it all out for their benefit.

(Terecita Vega) In the article I read on fox news Pentagon Proposes Huge Sale of Warplanes to Saudis is a huge mistake that the Obama administion can consider to even make. Weren't we in war with the Saudi Arabians? Why would we want to sell and make deals with the Saudis? What if we go into war with this country again? How would this change the way the U.S. forces fight and what advantages we would have prior to them now that they have the advantage of having the same weapons we do. It would be such a HUGE mistake to make. Yes it would be a big profit for the U.S. but why can't we make deals with other countries, why is it that its just Saudi Arabia that we are dealing with? It also could be a good thing in order to fix our situation on our debt. I mean it is a pretty good deal that the U.S. is offering the Saudis with the purchase of 30 billion in military assistance. But what I think the U.S. should do is to be ensured that the Saudis won't fo against us down the road. This idea of selling 30 billion in military assistance is not only going to help the U.S. to get our feet back up from such a bug debt but it could also symbolize "peace" between the U.S. and the Saudis.
