Teacher Interview: Mr. Eckenrod

1.What is your point of view on merit pay?
2.Are you in a teacher union?
3.What is your opinion in education?
4.What do you think about teacher unions?
5.What should change in education?
6.Should there be more classes open to students?
7.Are you being payed fairly opposed to your pay(over-time, class size, and hours)?
8.Are your class test scores fair?
9.Is your teaching contract fair?
10.What would you change in the teachers contract?
11.Should school boundaries be lifted and harder?
12.Should you have fur-load days?

Mr. Eckenrods Responses:
1.Dislike/like. I don't like because people get paid more without deserving it, somethings aren't fair.
2.Yes.
3.I feel that kids should decide what they want to learn.
4.They're necessary but if everyone isn't united they are useless.
5.Expectations that 100% students should be proficient by 2014.
6.Yes, more choices.
7.No, espicially being a soccer coach. And my degree in education.
8.Yes,extractly what I expected !!!! Most my students are advanced.
9.I think it is.
10.Nothing.
11.Yes, some students do not want to be in school.
12.No, but I rather, than pay cuts. Students should be learning more.
